National underwater Rescue Recovery Institute Logo The National Underwater Rescue & Recovery Institute is a professionally trained unit of volunteer water rescue personnel assembled to support the ongoing water related emergencies in the United States.

The Institute formed in 1965 and has participated in over 580 victim recoveries.  In 1970 the Institute started a training division that has trained over 1,000 water rescue professionals.

  The National Underwater Rescue and Recovery Institute is a non-profit organization dedicated to support Law Enforcement Agencies, Fire Departments, Emergency Medical Teams, County, State, or Federal Agencies training needs in the Water Rescue and Recovery Fields.

Rescue Diver, Advanced Search & Recovery, Limited Visibility, Night Diver, Top Tender certifications available upon completion of course at $60.00 per certification.
